Update on Visa Process.   We are waiting for paperwork to arrive from Eva’s school in Thailand. This paperwork is for her visa. When we receive the paperwork we will submit it to the Thai embassy in the USA to obtain Eva’s visa. The paperwork will arrive within 2 weeks. The actual visa process begins once we’ve mailed her papers to the embassy and that can take up to a few weeks.

Daniel is waiting for a letter from the Thai Ministry of Education. We will use that letter to apply

for our visas. When we receive the letter we will mail it to the Thai Embassy in the USA. After that getting the visas can take up to a few weeks. Thank you for praying about the visa process with us. These initial visas are necessary for us to obtain longer term visas later on.  We must have the visas before we depart for Thailand. Please pray with us about this.

Thank You! You have been on this journey with us from the beginning. We look forward to the impact God will have through you in Thailand! We are so grateful for your friendship & prayer!

    FRANK GILLESPIE - MEXICO

    August 2017

    Dear Co-Laborers and Prayer Partners,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, it is always a joy to write you and share with you what God is doing.

In June I flew to Harlingen, Texas and meet Pastor Ricardo Viginnas whom I have worked with for many years. He picked me up at the airport and we crossed the border into Matamoros, Mexico. While I was there we held three Missions Conferences in different churches. We also traveled out of Matamoros to some of the surrounding towns where we held meetings. This fall I have some more meetings already planned there in Matamoras, Mexico.

Please pray that the Lord will help me as I try to schedule my mission’s trips to Peru and Chile later this year as I would like to go visit and minister to the churches we started there. If you would like to help me I would really appreciate it.

Please continue to pray for me as I minister for the Lord to the Spanish people. On August 28, I will be celebrating my 83rd birthday. I pray that the Lord will continue to use me until he takes me home to be with him. I would like to thank all of you for supporting me. What a blessing it is to have friends and churches like you. I am truly blessed.

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” Joshua 1:9

    THE WINSLOWS

    THAILAND

    GREAT NEWS!

Our daughter has been accepted to the 2nd grade of the school she will be attending in Thailand! Now the school is reviewing her medical records and soon we will begin her visa process with the school. The registrar's office said she can begin school there in October--the month we are shooting for in arriving in Thailand. Also, our language school application is in the works and our visa application. We are waiting to hear from both.

Please pray with us about 3 very important things for an October transition to Thailand to happen:

    1) The Monthly Ministry Budget must reach 100% before we can purchase tickets to Thailand (it is at 95% now)

    2) For the One Time Set Up fund to increase

    3) Pray for the process of Eva's medical records and visa and our visa through the Thai language school

Thank you for joining us in prayer! We appreciate you so much! Because of you, Thai students will become growing followers of Christ who impact Asia and the World!  Thanks for your prayer and partnership!

    CAMPS ABROAD

The following is the first Onsite Update from Dan Brooks in Cuba:

Cuba is frozen in time in many ways, yet very progressive in others. The cars and buildings are sweet! A few photos are posted at www.facebook.com/campsabroad.

I have been working with the teens in a church in Cienfuegos, a few hours away from Havana. Sunday was a sweet time of worship with them. In the evening, I introduced them to a game of Big Ball. It was love at first sight! The pastor is excited about working with many churches to put on a camp in the future.

I head to Havana tomorrow to help Westwood Lakes Baptist Church (from Miami, FL) run a 3-day camp. It is an exciting opportunity for future Cuban camping!

    Dan
